The Triptych Singers were founded in 1973 as a male voice ensemble. Sopranos were soon added so that the repertoire could be extended and which now ranges from the 15th-21st Century,Sacred and Secular.
Receipts from the concert on 17th November will be divided between St. Augustine's and Voluntary Services Lewisham. The programme is an all-sacred one and the music in the first half will reflect the season of remembrance, for example, Purcell’s Funeral Music and the Contakion for the dead.
Following an Organ Solo, the second half will reflect the praise of God through music based on the Psalms by Monteverdi, Byrd and Palestrina.

The performance will last one hour and will be followed by a drinks reception. We are excited to reveal our inaugural concert as part of the International Rameau Ensemble's 2013/14 project.
Our vision is to promote and perform the operatic works of eighteenth century composer Jean-Philippe Rameau and to make his extraordinary music accessible to as wide a modern audience as possible in the run up to 2014, his anniversary year. We hope that you will join us in our vision to realise the rebirth of Rameau

A musical Christmas Concert at St Augustine's Church featuring a host of singers and musicians performing classical, folk and musical theatre plus Christmas carols.
