I live on Siddons Road. Lolos closed about a month ago. The word from the traders on the parade is that it was an "overnight" closure. The owner didnt indicate to anyone why she was closing or that she was going to do so. Informal views are that it was probably an inadequate business plan - the shop was refitted twice with likely insufficient profits - and the food was a bit pricey for its positioning. Worryingly, the other word is that one of the other shop owners - I wont mention who - is considering taking it on as a chicken shop (heaven forbid) and that if this goes through there will be localised opposition. Apparently, originally it was a post office.
