The great storm of 2013

We are up by Blythe Hill fields and were expecting it to be bad up here as it is so exposed! It ended up being quite calm up here and very little impact from the wind. How did the rest of the area get on?

.... although a large ~10 metre wide section of wall has collapsed on to the pavement at Gladiator Street. Hopefully it happened very early this morning and no-one was hurt.

there was tree uprooted at the bottom of Duncombe Hill. Shame I haven't took the camera with me.

I grabbed a pic of the aforementioned wall on Gladiator St.. can you imagine the noise when this tumbled down!

Nothing on Woodcombe Crescent that I can see.

Except for a Bosch Fridge/Freezer sitting next to a tree near the junction of Devonshire Road.

I don't think it flew there with the help of the wind?

But if you are missing one, then I hope my location report helps you to be re-united with it.

A lot of people got on the bus at Catford Bridge because the trains were not running.
