Crikey, has it really been closed seven months? It must be over a year since they painted the place grey, then. We used to love Thursday steak night before they changed everything. (We weren't ever too keen on the sticky-feeling tables but apart from that...)

£350K is going to buy a pretty spectacular refurb, though, isn't it? Hope they're not overegging this particular pudding. Or is there major structural work needing done?
