Honor Oak Park empty shops

I've had a call from a concerned resident about the empty shops in the parade at Honor Oak - I'd like to do a story for South London Press on this. There have been suggestions that rents are too high for people to come in and that perhaps it will mean applications will go in to the council to turn the premises into flats.
Has anyone had experience of this or is there a campaign group fighting to save the high street? Anyone with info - please call me on 020 8835 9709 or email kate.gould@slp.co.uk

All true and plus you have a landlord who seems determined not to let. Old Bank now at 40K pa:

Yes, good that he did so to keep the building in use. He may have avoided paying business rates by doing this though.
