Tincan, I've adopted the same occasional badgering technique! In fact I have heard back from a few local business owners who were interested in The Old Bank, but it seems they're all put off by the high rent demanded by the landlord, as Lacb has mentioned.

If a gastropub opened there, it would have a captive audience and I'm sure would be a roaring success. We simply don't have anything like it in HOP and I know plenty of people, me included, who would absolutely love it.
