We are a group of (mainly but not exclusively) women who meet to walk around the area once a week. The aim is to have some exercise taking advantage of our lovely hills. It has proved also a way of getting to know parts of SE23 (also straying into bits of SE22, SE21, SE26, SE4 and SE6) we do not always see as we dash about in cars, bikes or foot on the way to work, shopping etc. The summer months allowed us to explore the many green spaces around us and the winter walks, though on streets, often afford spectacular views.

We walk on Weds from 7-8pm (walks around 3 miles) starting and ending at Forest Hill or Honor Oak Park stations, usually on alternate weeks.

If you would like to join us, PM me. Next walk Wed 18th Sept 7pm from Honor Oak Park stn. Meet at the entrance to the station.

Sandy (on behalf of the group)
