Sainsbury's seems to have made a pretty good start for what it is i.e. a local shop where you can top up the main shop. It has only been open a couple of days and probably needs to gauge sales to anticipate popular items. It will never be able to stock the range of goods some people would desire. As others have pointed out we have other good shops some near and some a bit further away but which might be used less frequently e.g. Libretto's butchers in Wood Vale and Soper's fish shop in Nunhead where meat/fish can be bought and frozen as well as eating fresh. Apart from Waitrose, most supermarket meat and fish is not so good. So saying, Waitrose in Canary Wharf is accessible to us, too. As people often say, it might be more fruitful to feed back to the store itself where there might be gaps as well as comment here e.g. the Guardian on Saturday, run out by lunchtime.
