Hi. Can anyone recommend a good local picture framer please? I went to the place in Honor Oak parade but the very nice owner said he was retiring and not taking any new work. Many thanks.

I'l be very sad to see him go. Shame he could not sell the business as a going concern - surely there are enough local artists to support this sort of business?

We use Arterie in East Dulwich, on North Cross Road. Very good selection, though I find them eye wateringly expensive.

The father of a good friend of mine offers a really good professional service. I have had a few items framed myself and can highly recommend him.
He does everything from high-end to simple frames. Basically, just give him a call and he will arrange to come out to you with a catalogue of framing and finish options. He will also collect your item and drop it off after framing.
You can reach him on 07720646518
His name is Danny.

We always go to the ones on Lordship Lane in the parade of shops opposite Sainsburys (NR Plough Pub)
We have had dozens of pictures framed there, they are very reasonable,
great choice of frames, and also always come up with good suggestions.
Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

The one opposite the Plough Pub on Lordship Lane is absolutely excellent and good value.
