The retail units in the flats by Forest Hill station exit: any idea what the plan is?

I've noticed that over the past few days, the wooden holding panels on the ground floor have largely all come down and the sign above says 'Shop to let', not 'Shops'.
They look pretty swish and ready for someone's imminent arrival. Just hoping it isn't another Tesco Metro (though I suppose it MIGHT make the local Co-Op* buck their idea up).
Anybody any the wiser?
Thanks!

Somebody said elsethread that this will be an independent convenience store / newsagents. Perfect place for one, if you ask me.

The one in the block of new flats is some kind of off licencey type store. I'm intrigued myself by the building work in the property between Finches and the flats.... what do we think that is going to be ?

The last time we spoke to the agents for City Walk, we were told that the shop was going to be a smaller chain of convenience store while negotiations for the restaurant were ongoing.
There was no tenant lined up for 29 Perry Vale when the work started, but we have given a few prospective tenants the contact details we have.

Spoke to two blokes supervising the building works today and asked what was happening and yes one is to be a convenience store and the other is o be a restaurant, they seemed to think it was going to be a Greek restaurant but TBH they didn't say it with any degree of confidence.....
Great to see somhng happening on the other side if the tracks in forest hill!

I passed last week and some activity was going on in one of the units, so I popped in and asked what was opening. One guy said it will be an African Restaurant, the other said Caribbean restaurant, so maybe an African/Caribbean restaurant.

Much as I love it to be too, the closest we're going to get to Waitrose is the wagons driving through FH on the south circ.
