Welcome!

There's a few things nearby. The newly reopened Prince of Wales pub is nice enough and the landlord very friendly. Some good local ale too.

There is a little nature reserve called Dacres Woods nearby. Mayow Park is nice and has a little community educational garden, cafe and a few events.

Lots of decent things on FH & Sydenham high streets too.

If you like a short walk the path behind Sainsburys along the water is nice. Takes you all the way to Greenwich one way and out through Beckenham the other.

Blythe Hill Tavern is a really good pub if you like beer and chat. The Catford Bridge tavern is cooler and younger but also good. There is jazz most nights at the Red Lion in Sydenham with the great gastro pub The Dolphin opposite. has a good garden too. There is also an amazing posh curry house called Babur too up the road off of Stansted road (south circular). They do great evening offers so make sure you go!
