On Perry Vale just by Dacres Road turn towards Woolstone Road end.
Space for about 3 cars in between double yellow lines and garage entrances
This is on a very sharp bend. Drivers never used to be stupid enough to park there but recently up to 3 at a time. This forces traffic going north towards the bend to drive in the middle of the road ( including 356 bus ). I am dreading a major pile up here.
Just because no yellow lines people just park there, I always thought commom sense played a part in driving but those days seem to be gone, guess the council ought to extend yellow lines to garage exits.

Brian, the Perry Vale ward meeting on 2 June would be a good time for you to raise this, if you can get there. I am told by the Council that Perry Vale was subject to an 'Accident Reduction Scheme' in 2005, and that they hope to review the effectiveness of the scheme as soon as funds permit.

I will certainly try to attend. Just cannot understand why double yellows were not continued to garage exits.

It is probably a good idea to continue them in front of the garage exits as well.
