Extra carriages for Overground trains?

Does anyone know if/when the extra 5th carriage will be added to the Overground trains on our route? I'm positive I read this somewhere at the end of last year, but the trains seem no longer yet.

The morning/evening crush on the stretch HOP-Canada Water is just getting silly! Apparently these carriages are meant to be air-conditioned. You wouldn't know it, and its not even summer.

A bit of a wait yet, I'm afraid...

Thanks - but ugh, that's going to be a hot summer!

Still, pleased to see that the carriages are being manufactured in the UK. And I congratulate my fellow passengers on the creative loading of our trains - 'each carriage can carry approximately 150 passengers'? Pah, I'm sure we easily double that when needed in the crush hour!

I tried to get on at Brockley one morning and gave up after three trains came in and I could not get in them!

Packed like sardines!

That was one of the reasons that we did not consider Brockley when we purchased in Forest Hill as the extra couple of stops sometimes makes it almost impossible to get on.... and a tight fit if you can.
