Have any workmen been on-site during the evenings? When I returned to FH at 6pm, there were none to be seen.

Even worse is that there is all of this disruption but water is still pouring out of the road in front of William Hill. I had thought that these roadworks were to repair that but I'm not sure now!

The work has finished with the junction fully reopened, but the leak by William Hill continues.

As does the traffic jam heading up Brockley Rise in an effort to avoid FH!

They actually painted that yellow box in the road months ago, before the leak started. I think these 'emergency repairs on a collapsed sewer' were planned more than 2 months in advance and had nothing to do with the fresh water that is continuing to leak out of the ground and is beginning to seriously dent the road, with splashing going the door of the betting shop when buses go past.
Perhaps they could come back and close off the other side of the road for a week while they try to fix the leak for another year.

Last night I saw some people digging up the road just where the leak is. I don't suppose it has been fixed, has it?

All dry this morning. Now they just need to deal with the leak that emanates from a crack in the road just above Sainsburys.
