OK I am being nosy here, but I often pass a large house on Woolstone Road (on a corner, on the left as you are going towards Catford) that is called "Friendly House" - or something like that. Nice, expensive cars in the drive. Huge house with CCTV. Nice gates. Never see anyone. Any ideas what goes on in there? could be something really boring like a private dentist. Or something more exciting, perhaps?!

Is it on the corner of Hurstbourne Road? I think it's just a private house. The planning application for the front walls/gates a few years ago listed it as residential.

Yes that's the one. Oh well. Seemed a bit more business like than just a house. But maybe you're right.

Sorry to disappoint, but yes that is just a private house (I met the owners when we did our Big Lunch street party on Hurstbourne)

Thanks Jane2. I confess to being a bit disappointed, but also feeling even nosier, knowing that I have been speculating about someone's home! And they call it "Friendly House" as well. Ah well. I hope to meet the owners one day. They sound like nice people.
