Does anyone know what's happening with the coffee shop next to the chip shop, I think it was called from the forest? Similarly what's happening with pedders old shop now they have moved in to the old laundry?

I wasn't moaning honestly, just questioning the term "British Food".

Like everyone else I am pleased that there is the massive injection of cash into a very grim old pub (as it was 10 years ago) and I am pleased about the jobs it is creating (just count the white vans out in the road now!). Also the job opportunities it will provide in future.
Hopefully it may lead to a revival of some of the sad looking shops in that bit of Brockley Rise: many years ago we had a bakers, two greengrocers, a greek deli and the fish/game shop (now the music shop), a Post Office and Barclays Bank.
