***UPDATE***

Good news. I today received correspondence from Lesley Brooks, Lewisham Council's Service Group Manager for Parking Services stating she has ordered a review of parking signage in both Pearcefield and Perry Vale car parks.

I have also suggested they might considered whether a second ticket machine could be installed at Perry Vale.

Will keep you posted.

My wife was caught out by the misleading signage on the machines and got a ticket. After reading the instructions a number of times myself its fair to say that they are loaded in the favour of the machine operator and not in favour of those who are legitimate users of the car park.

After writing to the Council, who rejected my appeal, I took the case to the adjudicator. They found in my favour and the case reference is below.

Its frustrating that the lack of clear and simple information is not provided to the benefit of people of the Borough.

There are two large car parks in FH, one at the station and Sainsburys. Not really that bad is it.

To top that the Sainsburys car park is free for two hours.
