I am a member of the forest hill folk orchestra. We have been rehearsing in the chapel on the hill each week and need to find a new venue. This is a community not for profit venture and members split the cost of venue hire each week so it needs to be somewhere that charges a reasonable hourly rate and that can accommodate 20-30 people. Somewhere in the forest hill area would be best. Anyone got any ideas?

Several local groups - WI, choir - use the Honor Oak pub. Would be worth finding out how much they charge.

You could also try asking Crofton Park Baptist Church. They have a hall that could easily accommodate that number.

St augustines honor oak park already has rehearsals for a large choir so worth trying them.

thanks for the advice everyone. I sent an email to the Honor Oak pub and not heard anything back yet and also spoke to St Augustines who only want occasional one off bookings rather than a weekly class. Will keep trying!

We haven't got to the stage of doing any performance yet, but I will post it on here if we do! Have to find a venue to rehearse in firstSmile

Beckenham Methodist Church has half a dozen mixed size rooms/halls - might work if you don't get anything closer?
It's close to St George's on Bromley Road.
