We live in a terrace/half house as seen on Ebsworth/Bovill and are currently considering quotes for a loft conversion. I would love feedback/recommendations on loft companies residents in the local area have used. Especially if anyone has experience in converting lofts in a half house... your advice would be much appreciated! We have been told that a sprinkler system should be installed (H&S regs) as the stairs lead in to a communal area. Also, beams may need to go through both our house and our neighbours loft, to ensure the loft is completely structurally sound -good idea or a waste of money?
