Brockley Central is reporting that Antic has gone into administration.

Hopefully a new buyer will be found for Sylvan Post, Catford Tavern, Jam Circus and East Dulwich Tavern.

Apparently there's a difference between Antic and its offshoot Antic Ltd. It's Antic Ltd in trouble and therefore only Jam Circus that would need a new buyer from the list. The others are owned by Antic, which are safe. Complicated!

Hoona is right but the others might be 'safe' with only a very small 's' if the separation between Antic Ltd and Antic London isn't significant

This is what seems to be standard practice from "Antic" Ltd. I have known them to be Doy Ltd, The Black Ant Company and Billsop all of which were registered at the same address in Camberwell but because of various reasons (possibly involving debt or other responsibility of some description) went into administration.

Yes. Apologies for the misquote and false rumour. I missed the subtlety of Antic and Antic Ltd in BrockleyCentral's tweet.

The list of Antic Ltd pubs can be found here http://www.antic-ltd.com
