I have to say that this is pretty unnerving - I walk up from the station at all times in the evening. I have also noticed that there are no lights on the west side of Devonshire Road between Honor Oak Park and Boveney Road. I have often thought that in the gloom, between the parked cars and the hedges of the houses there was a good spot for unobserved mugging.
