Article in February edition of Lewisham Life recognises the Horniman won this competition. Unfortunately it fails to mention Forest Hill when people did vote for 'Forest Hill and the Horniman Museum'. It also did not mention 'the award-winning Horniman Gardens provide a green oasis with panoramic city views' as detailed in the competition description.

A few pages later other favourite buildings in the borough are mentioned: Horniman Museums gets another mention, as well as Forest Hill Library, and Welcome Aboard on Horniman Drive. Slightly outside SE23 is the Rivoli ballroom which gets a mention, and finally Manor House Library which is closed for 2008. So again Forest Hill is rightly recognised as the nicest place for architecture in Lewisham.

Finally from Lewisham Life is a profile of Sydenham and a reminder that it has been ages since I have been to Wells Park. I may have to rectify that this afternoon.
