Yep, when I left home this morning, there was the unique aura of muck spreading in the air, a most distinctive whiff!

I did too! I left much earlier than usual this morning and put it down to my senses not having woken up properly
Glad to hear there was an actual cause rather than early morning madness.

Yes, this morning I was in Kent, "The garden of England" and it definitely smelt fertilized!

This morning I was convinced one of my baby's nappies dirty had gone astray somewhere in the house , which resulted in a massive hunt indoors this morning. Finding nothing sinister I then went about inspecting the bottom of all our shoes to see if we'd trodden in anything. Then I had a look at our drains to see if something had cracked. Finally I turned on the TV to discover this story..something I wished I'd done earlier.......
