Is anyone else in the area (especially around South Road / Church Rise) having uncharacteristically slow internet access at the moment?

Normally ours is fine but for the last few days it's slowed right down so it's impossible to stream music or video without buffering. Can't find any issues with the computer or modem, so I think it may be the BT lines (again), so it would be useful to hear if anyone else is having the same problem.

if it continues you will need to raise a fault with BT directly. I have a similar problem and the engineer discovered that the green junction box in the street had a leak and rain was getting onto the circuit boards. Getting 11mps now (standard ADSL not BT infinity )

There is a lot of work going on on Dacres Road, and this morning on one side of Church Rise, this may be the cause

Yes Internet DNS was very unresponsive on BT. Back to normal now!

Thanks everyone - it's back to normal for me as well now by the looks of it, maybe it was a junction box or works. Hopefully it'll stay good for a while!
