No call back as promised from the person in escalations I spoke to yesterday. However following contact with the Consumers Council for Water yesterday I have now been called by someone else in Thames Water who in the space of 30 minutes has done more than any of the previous 5 others I've spoken to over the last 10 days!

Having looked into what has been done (or rather hasn't been done) she has already rung me back to advise that their contractors will be onsite tomorrow to do the repair. The reason the contractors gave for being unable to do the repair on September 2nd was because there were cars parked where they had to dig to get at the pipe!! However it doesn't seem as if they knocked any doors to see if they could find out who the cars belonged to or left signs advising to keep the area clear.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring!
