Does anyone know if any bars or pubs or green spaces in or near SE23 are going to be showing the Olympics opening ceremony on Fri?

I believe there is a big screen event on Blackheath if you fancy getting wet on the Common ;(
(see Lewisham Council website)

It would seem that the young man whose solo of Jerusalem started the opening ceremony is a Forest Hill resident.

NewsShopper (and others) wrote:
12-year-old Humphrey Keeper from Forest Hill also moved viewers with his note-perfect solo of Jerusalem.

The choir boy from St William of York primary delivered a beautiful rendition of the classic British hymn in front of millions.

He was joined at the ceremony by nine other performers from the Forest Hill-based primary school.

Would love to hear of any other Forest Hill involvement in the ceremonies.
