Hi forums, just a post to say that we found two kiddie micro-scooters sitting in the street outside our home near the Forest Hill station end of Devonshire Road.
They are very similar to this:

We've taken them inside so that nobody wandering by gets their hands on them and would be very happy to re-unite them with their little owners! If you think they are yours please message me, the scooters have children's names written on them so just to be safe, tell me the names on them and we can arrange a time to meet so that we can pass them on to you!

I'm not sure how they got to be outside our house, my guess would be that they were pinched from a front garden and eventually dumped! They seem to be in full working order.

Many thanks!

There's a house in Dunoon Road recently sold, where the family are clearly having a clearout of kids' stuff, pre-move. I'm sure I saw, among other stuff they left out on the pavement for people to take, two such scooters. Could they be the same ones?

Perhaps the children accidental wheeled into some grumpy old resident's exclusion zone and have been thrown into the hedges.

I saw a sign taped to a lamppost on Devonshire Rd saying:

'Lost - scooters
if you've seen them please call 07...'

Perhaps its referring to the same scooters.

If the sign is still there this evening I'll post the number on this thread.

Thanks harryc2011, we've been contacted by the owners and they will be collecting the scooters. Hooray!
