Come on down tomorrow for a £3.50 Car Wash at Sainsbury's Forest Hill Car Park in aid of lcoal schools charity Widehorizons.

On Saturday 18th August, Sainsbury’s Forest Hill staff will be rolling up their sleeves for a charity car wash in support of local charity Widehorizons, who provide adventurous experiences for children and young people in Forest Hill.
Widehorizons works with thousands of children every year including many from local schools such as; Eliot Bank, Horniman School, Perrymount, Fairlawn, Forest Hill Boys, Sydenham and many more. Widehorizons trustee and ex Forest Hill Head Graham Agnew commented ‘you may have fond childhood memories of visiting one of our outdoor centres, such as ‘Aber’ in Wales or the Environmental Centre in Horton Kirby’, adding ‘working with the local community and Sainsbury’s will help us give many more generations of Forest Hill pupils the opportunity to experience an adventure at one of our centres’.
The car wash will be taking place in Sainsbury’s Forest Hill car park between 12am and 3pm. Sainsbury’s Public Relations Manager Susan commented, ‘Widehorizons’ close relationship with Forest Hill makes them a great charity to work with’, she also said ‘when you can see the direct impact your fundraising is making in your own community, it really does makes all the difference’.
Throughout the coming year Sainsbury’s will be holding a variety of events in store to support Widehorizons. If you would like to find out more about these events contact Widehorizons Fundraising and Marketing Assistant Nicola on 0208 8501 581, or join the Facebook group MYSE23. Otherwise you can provide a local child with an adventure today, donate now and text MYSE23 £5 to 70070.
