Dear Mr Numbers,
Would it be possible to post Abdi Guhad's email address so we could ALL bombard him with emails regarding getting this sorted???

Thank you

Aw, shucks, I felt bad as it was when I put his name up here! Besides, I'm sure he's just the poor flippin' messenger. No doubt someone in FHS knows someone at LOG who really matters!

Workers in the station today so hopefully we will get our cash machines back soon.

Workmen still working avidly today, so hopefully we're on track to getting back to normal with access to the path and return of the cashpoints.

No sign yet of any cash points returning or the boarded area coming down... Can it really take over six months? [/b]Anyone know anything?

According to LOROL
Work starts on the 9th and will be complete within a few days.

We're hopeful that this means that the ATMs will be replaced and the hoardings will be removed.

The new ATM's are now operational. From what I could see tonight, they have large screens.

Alas, as of just after 6pm this evening they don't actually contain any money... There were plenty of people trying to use them, so hopefully they'll be loaded up soon.

Cash machines with no cash in. That would be a cunning deterrent?

Apparently Network Rail are in charge of filling up the machines. Unfortunately the cash has been cancelled but there's a voucher replacement service.

As funny as your comment is, Deano, (funnier than mine a minute ago, anyway) I think cashless cash machines would only be a deterrent for people who aren't stupid enough to try to ram-raid them in the first place.

I don't think it's Network Rail who fill the ATM's up, it's the responsibility of BankMachine who are contracted by London Overground to administer and operate the ATM's at their stations.

Interesting link rbmartin. Thanks. But I was joking... "voucher replacement service"? Oh, well. Never mind. Not my best. ;-)

From what I could see this morning, it said something along the lines of "Bank Machine welcomes you to Forest Hill Station."
