Is it me or are the new tannoys at LB station unlistenable? I was at the station on Friday and could not hear the announcement due to the echoey nature of what was being said. Anyone else experienced this?

I noticed this yesterday. It beggars belief how people could 'test' these systems and think they're ok. You're right, the announcements are mostly impenetrable. Oh well, at least the station isn't about to be inundated with tourists visiting a global sporting event... oh, hang on...

Maybe an email to Network Rail is required.

Perhaps the email should say Wah waaha wa wawa. Platform 3 in wahah wa wa minutes.

And were not very wawahing happy about wa wa that.

Write to NR indeed. Don't put ideas in their head.

They will propose to the Rail Regulator that it should be converted to another successful measure.

Indecipherable announcements in an increased number of languages.
