Hi
I drove past Forest Hill fire station on Stanstead Road today and saw a large banner for an open day in June. However I didn't catch the date - does anyone know when it is?

Thanks!

We went a few years ago- it was pretty good. Children love this sort of stuff and learn a lot too. Minty from Eastenders turned up but no one recognised him- shame. They let kids sit in the fire engine and they did a demonstration of a real chip pan catching fire which was pretty scary but a great lesson in what can happen if youre not careful. Lots of free goodies ie pencils, balloons etc to give away usually.
