Walked passed the offending site today. Even at 6ft 4 inches tall could not see over the very high boards that have been errected. Are they trying to hide something. Much higher than most sites I think.
Anyway I was reassured when I saw that the devolpers were Devolpers of Distinction. Surely this should allay any fears

This very important matter seems to have gone quiet. Hopefully all settled to the satisfaction of the neighbours.

It's only gone quiet because the developer's latest application is still invalid. No doubt they will either validate it or put in a new one at some stage.

Still not a lot going on at #6, apart from the sign still being smashed to pieces, and occasional visits.

I did however hear that apparently the owners are atempting to sue Lewisham for some technicality about the trees outside, damaging the drainage pipes, causing flooding, causing the subsequent collapse of the house.

Digging all the foundations out beneath the house clearly have no impact. Nor the fact that there is a few feet of water sitting in the basement now, which says something about how the drainage of the land was constructed during recent "building".

Any idea what is going on with these properties now? I am an Earlsfield tenant in a separate property and cannot get hold of them for love nor money. Definitely think something is up though.

#6 CR is still a hole in the ground, rapidly filling with water with the recent rain. The cracks in our house continue on their aim to become canyons, and the security of living in the house reduces daily.

Interested to know whether anyone has conisidered civil action against Lewisham and on what basis. Clearly there are a growing number of complaints here (hope FHS will raise at the AGM) which could precipitate ombudman cases. But could you sue through the county court mechanism (which is pretty cheap, user friendly and does not involve solicitors).

Perhaps possible class action! Come the revolution.

It would be good to hear from LBL on this site as I know at least one councillor and one ex-councillor contribute. Perhaps a 'yes, we are not very good' in representing residents' views would be helpful.

I think we are talking about democratic deficit here. Must get off this site and start drafting my next letter to Jim D and the communities minister (and I am not joking)

Not much gonna happen for a while there now. As there is about 6ft of water in the basement that is left there now.

Not sure just how safe it all is. Might not be suitable for building on for quite some time.

Well, the plot of land for 6 Church Rise is now up for sale.
So is it out of the frying pan, into the fire, or finally on safer ground.?

The whole worry starts all over again, over whos hands it will fall into, what plan they will dream up and most of all, how it will affect the structural integrity of our house.

Wonder how much the asking price is.

OMG, its got walls.... 6 Church Rise is finally rising from the hole it once was.
   

Another milestone has been reached, side walls are appearing, and the property borders are becoming a little clearer once again.

A little disturbed by the window that has appeared facing my bathroom but hey ho.

   

Either way, it it really nice to see a house back where there once was on. Shame its not the original, and parking will become a nightmare. My bathroom will once again fall into shade lol

Just thought I would continue my obsession with this project, and share a picture that makes me smile...

Actually looking surprisingly good too. Now to see how the parking situation works out when people start to move in.
