I'm back on!

Thanks jgdoherty for the comments.

Not very clear what happened. I checked the BT line and the diagnostic said they had a problem, though the engineer has just called and said it is fine. I suspect he has done something as I have a clear phone line for the first time since I moved in 4 years ago!

Do let me know when I should go to BT Infinity ;-)
