Deceased rabbit in London Road

Apologies for the title - couldn't think of a more tactful way to put it. We just spotted what looked to be a very flat rabbit in the middle of London Road, near the end of the parade of shops where it turns residential. Don't think it was a squirrel, although the colour was a similar agouti-brown, as there seemed to be one long ear. Sad

I'm hoping it was an escapee from the Horniman, rather than a beloved family pet. Or perhaps there is a colony of wild bunnies deep in the heartlands of FH....

I dont think the ones at the Horniman are back yet. Perhaps there are wild rabbits around here unless someone was unfortunate to lose a pet. I take it it was definitely a rabbit?
