I fear from what I've seen on this forum about the rent rises it will only be the likes of Sainsbury's who will be able to surrvive on HOP soon. I have no objection to a Sainsbuys/tesco etc local opening because it would be useful but I would like to see the wide variety of businesses we currently enjoy stay. It has been a shame the Old Bank has been empty so long - a Cafe Rouge/Zizzi type establishment would be good there - we certainly don't need any more takeaways as there are plenty on HOP/Brockley Rise
