New building at the Horniman

Does anyone know the function of that rather tasty looking new pavilion building at the back of Hornimans (where the animal enclosure used to be)? Aside from that unresolved edge to the ceiling and the attendant poor wiring it seems very well made but oddly no one in our group could decide on what it is for......

I think it is an 'education' room for school groups etc

I've seen it called the pavilion or interpretation centre for school groups and events.
