Loft Conversions

I'd welcome recommendations for loft conversion contractors from the kind folk of SE23.

I'm sure this subject has been covered before on the forum, but the previous posts don't seem to go that far back, so apologies for being repetitive.

We have the bog standard 1930s two beds and a shoebox semi and would like a hip-to-gable loft conversion, preferably without losing any of the already small shoebox bedroom.

Advice, bad experiences, recommendations, hints and tips and especially how much it ought to cost, please, would be much appreciated.
