Hi

i am a new mum to a 10 week old baby and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on whether there are any baby groups in the Forest hill or honor oak area that would be suitable for me and my little one to attend. i only seem to be able to find toddler groups.

or are there any other new mums out there who would like to meet up for a coffee or two during the day.

thanks in advance for any info anyone can give me.

forest.

Hi

There is a playgroup at the Forest Hill Methodist Church on Normanton Street, although its a Toddler group too, it has a nice peaceful separate 'Bumps and Babies' room so you don't have to sit in amongst the fracas of toddlers! Its on Monday mornings (term time only) 9.30 - 11.30 and you get tea, real coffee and biscuits.

Jane x

St Augustine's Church, One Tree Hill, has a group called Little Acorns every Tuesday from 9.30am until 11.30am. Again, it's a toddler group, but has a baby area.

Hello to everyone!

I've been meaning to join this forum for some time and have finally done so as I noticed this thread.

"Forest71", my baby is 7 weeks old and I would like to meet other new mums too - so maybe we could meet for a coffee?

Thank you to "hellohello" for the useful link.Thumbsup

Lady B.

The regular one is Ackroyd Childrens Centre on ackroyd road 5 minutes from Honor Oak Station. They have a group every weds and fri - small charge but tea and coffee, run by really nice people, soft bit for small babies and bigger bit for toddlers. Netmums have a local group with meet ups at Jam Circus and crofton park library has baby song time on a friday morning. Hope that helps. s.
