Hi, We are looking for recommendations of carpenters or builders who are able to design/build and fit a new staircase.

We had some excellent work done last year by Terry Malone fitting shelves and cupboards.

Worth speaking to him to see if he does staircases. Top quality tradesman: listened to what we wanted, beautiful joinery with a high-quality finish, provided really good clear information (both ahead of time, and through the work being done) and everything was left incredibly clean and tidy.

I can also recommend a chap called Ivo Rousham who's company is called Rousham Design. Attention to detail is quite exceptional, as his aesthetic taste. We've used him for years to do all sorts of things. I'll drop him an email telling him about this thread.
