There is a good commentary on those stats on the Dalmain thread. That certainly accounts for some of it with Horniman. The other thing to consider is that Horniman is a one form entry school so it is harder to 'hide' any naturally lower achievers in the rest of the numbers.

Certainly worth asking questions about via the teaching staff or the governors...you have at least one of them on hand on this very forum.
