Lively Minds 55+ Group
Group meets on the first Monday of every month
10.30am-12.00noon - No need to book
Refreshments available and full disabled access.

January 9th : Telling Tales of Now and Then with Sandra Agard: Pass on memories of treasured times to family and loved ones by creating a memory box.

February 6 th : Age UK will come to give a talk about ‘Help in the Home’. Find out about services available to you.

March 5th : Learn about the work of The Positive Ageing Council that was set up to improve the lives of older people in Lewisham. See how you can get involved by sharing your ideas and opinions.

April 2nd : Rosanna the gardener will talk about spring gardening with some ideas for hanging baskets for you to try

May 14th : Maggie Smith runs creative writing sessions and will share her knowledge on 'Writing in Later Life.'

June 11 th : Local author Mel Wright will speak about his latest book ‘One Thing And Another’. The book is about a group of people in mid life living in Hastings and struggling to manage with the credit crunch. It is a comical and poignant story of friendship.
