Hi, does anyone know what parking is like in this area on a Sunday, on London Bridge itself for instance and around Southwark Cathedral. Advice appreciated, especially as there are no direct trains to LB from FH that day due to engineering works and the diverted journey is likely to take over an hour each way . Many thanks

Alternatively drive to Catford as the services there are fine, and you have a large car park at Wickes to use

Thanks BD! We will still probably need parking for our friends in this area who are coming from different directions. Does anyone know whether you can easily park in the streets surrounding the station, or the bridge itself? There is an NCP at Snowfields but this costs ?12 per day.

Thanks again,

Unless it has been changed fairly recently I believe you can park for free on a Sunday around the Butlers Wharf area. I sometimes park on Queen Elizabeth Street which is a 5-10 min walk up to London Bridge along the riverside dodging the tourists!

There are a number of security issues about parking in or near city of London I would think.
