My neighbour is upset as the family cat has gone missing. He was last seen around 17.00 on Tuesday. He is a small neutered tom, mainly black black with white socks and white flashes in his chest and face. He has a thinning patch of fur on his back and would normally be seen in upper Dunoon Road/Haredon Close/Fairlie Gardens area. If anyone has seen any sign of him, info would be very welcome.

Hey we have a cat matching this description with a red collar. Is this him?

Please respond asap so we can put him back where we found him so he doesn't get too freaked out!

We have sent him on his way... Honor Oak end of Devonshire Road. On closer inspection his back fur seemed fine.

Thank you so much for looking. Sadly, my neighbour's cat doesn't have a collar and his back fur is obviously thinner - a greyish patch in the black. However, many thanks again for your help. We will keep on looking but I fear that he is done for.

Oh don't worry. I hope someone would do the same for my cat if it went missing. I hope he turns up!

He has returned safe and none too worse for his experience. Amazing given his age and the cold weather.
