We went to Anika last Friday - we were attracted by the half price offer. I don't think you'd be attracted in by anything else to be honest, regardless of the food!

It was very good value at half price, and a very pleasant meal, but I think they've chosen the wrong strategy to try and win custom. I don't think you really get yourself anywhere in the long term by being cheap in the short term. People will get used to the prices now and then go somewhere else when they go back up again. The food would have to be extra special for you to remain, but if it was extra special then would they have this problem in the first place?

I think it gives an impression of being a bit desperate. It would be much better to spruce the place up a bit and make the whole experience more pleasant and professional! I appreciate what they're trying to do, but think there are better ways of going about it.
