The annual concert is scheduled for Sun 10th Dec ie 3 weeks today but talking to the Horniman staff and looking at the state of the construction I do not think this will be taking place at least in the normal format. The staff said there would definitely be no Santas grotto nor any markets outside as in previous years. A formal announcement is expected nearer the time if the event is off or modified in some way. Apparently there is a great deal of work still to be done to the bandstand and the surrounds.
