As I drove past last night, I noticed that the railway bridge over the South Circular was being painted. This bridge had been a eyesore for years, covered in graffiti on top of signs for Connex trains!

How does it look in the light of day?

Further painting occurred last night. The upper level of the bridge where most of the graffiti was has had a coat of white paint - it could do with another one. The lower level which is painted a pale brown colour still has graffiti on it and hasn't been painted - yet. But at least several years of campaigning by the Forest Hill Society seem to have had some impact, even if it isn't the thorough repaint we would like to see.
