Only the side walls and floor will be structural. Everything else can come out pretty much. Removing the staircase is serious but not impossible.

I am fairly sure one was for sale on http://www.themodernhouse.co.uk a while back but its not there now and isn't showing up on http://www.houseprices.co.uk, but that generally has a 3-4 month delay on sales because of land registry.

Would be interested to know the story too...
