1. The three lovely trees and all those lavender plants (amongst many other types of plants) in front of Forest Hill Station.

2. The laundromat opposite Forest Hill Station. Sitting in there listening to local gossip makes me feel like I'm in an episode of Eastenders. "Didya hear whose just got 'erself pregnant?" It's a toss up between this forum and the laundromat on where I get the most local news.

3. My great neighbours in our street and further afield. Having terrific people around makes life that much better.


1. Some of our local shops that don't have their opening times displayed. The big chains do this well. The little independents could pick up their game. You know who you are!

2. The rat run that my street can be. You dirty rats! You know who you are!

3. Doggie doo-doo on the pavements. You know who you are!
