Hello, first go at this but thought I would start off with a question to all users.

Did you know that there is an all make classic car club for Forest Hill ?

The chap that set it up lives just off in Boveney Road.

But,(dare I say this?) the meetings are the second Tuesday of every month in a Baptist church hall near Brockley cemetary.

So, you Forest Hill folks, if you have a loved old car (over 25 years old) and want to show it off, the Forest Hill & District Classic Car Club could be for you.

Hope this counts for SE23.com !

Cheers,

Simon

PS: I take my old Volvo and Bedford Campervan!

Hi..

By meetings do you mean a 'bring along your classic' type thing or just some people meeting to chat?

I'd be interested in either to some extent, but much more if cars were brought along. I dont have a car at the moment (no need to, but i think i might get one soon anyway!) but have owned a few classics in the recent past.

Thanks for the heads up, anyway.

Cheers, Greg

We have a few classics, VWs to be precise and sometimes go to the Brockley Bus Club which is a VW club. I always wondered about the club you mention as some neighbours mentioned them to us when we moved here. Shame as it is difficult for us to make Tuesday nights.

Hello all,

The club is a bring a car along and any make is welcome.

Just a group of folks that like older machinery. Chats and cups of tea on a Tuesday night.

Annual show in Greenwich at Devonport House and we attend other shows too so we can show off our old cars.

In the winter the classics are a little thin on the ground but once the spring arrives it is classics only in the car park at our monthly meet!

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Simon

Cheers,

Simon

Just so happens that I am working my first ever nights (not something we do regularly) this coming week - so I wont be able to make it in any form..

Hope you have a good turnout, I look forward to attending next month.
