Perry Vale, Forest Hill was the destination of a task set for the presenter Suzi Perry (better known for presenting MotorGP perhaps) in the Gadget show last night (16/5/2011).
The idea was to find a place name that included her name - ie Perry, and Perry Vale was somehow identified as the nearest place from central london.

I think this is a significant name drop for the area in the media, albeit channel 5, and I suggest we use local funding to place a commemorative plaque on the long railway wall to celebrate the fact.

Once saw Suzi Perry doing Treasure Hunt at Dover Castle, and managed to get in the background of one of the shots.

I saw Suzy Perry on TV. She has legs up to her armpits!

That's great. Maybe we'll soon get a visited by the Duke of Devonshire, or the players of Sunderland football club. How about using our environs as a location for a works outing for the ground control crew at Stanstead airport? Perhaps not a visit from Mike Tyson though.

It should be said, however, that Ms Perry never actually made it to the eponymous Vale on the show, as co-presenter Jason Bradbury completed his challenge first.

I remember Mike Tyson about 17 years ago did visit Tyson Road. I remember hearing this on the news and being shocked that he'd come all the way to a rather disappointing street in Se23.
